I was able to pre-book tours through the Holland America website (also pre booking through the ship gives you the guarantee that if you’re late at any time - they fly you to the next port instead of it coming out of your own pocket). If you used a travel agent they can send you a link.

The trail we took was very well groomed. It is definately a downward walk to the falls and lot's of steps-back up to the van. I don't remember feeling unsafe but that last step climbing …

The trail we took was very well groomed. It is definately a downward walk to the falls and lot's of steps-back up to the van. I don't remember feeling unsafe but that last step climbing to the top caused me a bit of huffing and puffing. I would email the company if you have any concerns. There may even be a choice or paths.
