Hamas has yet to deliver an official response to the Israeli proposal that was submitted a week ago and is now raising new demands on issues that had already been resolved, an Israeli official told The Jerusalem Post on Wednesday.
Hamas’s conduct within Gaza is also largely shielded from international scrutiny. Credible reports document executions of suspected collaborators and the seizure and black-market resale of humanitarian aid.
