DUBAI, United Arab Emirates (AP) — Israel launched an expanded assault on Iran on Sunday, with direct strikes targeting its energy industry and Defense Ministry headquarters, while Tehran unleashed a fresh barrage of missiles blamed for the deaths of four people and injuries of many others.
Israeli emergency services have said at least two people were killed in the strikes and dozens of people are injured.
DUBAI, United Arab Emirates (AP) — Air raid sirens have sounded across Israel following an Iranian missile attack on the country. The rumble of explosions could be heard throughout Jerusalem, and Israeli TV stations showed plumes of smoke rising in Tel Aviv after an apparent missile strike. There were no immediate reports of casualties.
Iran launched a counterattack on Israel the same day Israel hit Iranian nuclear sites and military bases with airstrikes on June 13.
