Black Friday has become some sort of unstoppable monster that grows larger every year. We get that for some people, Black Friday is an irritating event that floods their screens with ads for sales they don't want or need.

Amazon has played a pivotal role in shaping Black Friday into what it is today: as one of the largest online retailers globally, Amazon’s influence on consumer shopping behavior cannot be overstated. Unlike Prime Day which is exclusive to Amazon Prime members, Black Friday is an event open to everyone and makes it accessible for all shoppers.

Black Friday 2024 kicks off in less than one week (Nov. 29). However, dozens of retailers, including Amazon, Best Buy Canada, Walmart and Canadian Tire, have already begun their Black Friday and Cyber Monday deals.
