Apple launches Tap to Pay on iPhone in Egypt
Apple has launched Tap to Pay on iPhone in Egypt, empowering merchants to use iPhone to accept in-person, contactless payments. With Tap to Pay on iPhone, merchants can accept contactless payments through a supporting iOS app on an iPhone Xs or later running the latest iOS version.
Apple Pay now available in one more country following recent expansion
Apple Pay is currently available in more than 80 countries around the world. In November, Apple had already expanded the platform to banks in Paraguay.
Tap to Pay on iPhone comes to Chile and Egypt
