Lance and the Chargers agreed to a one-year contract worth up to $6.2 million, according to ESPN's Adam Schefter. Lance, formerly projected as franchise quarterback with the San Francisco 49ers, ultimately lost his job to Brock Purdy. He was traded to the Dallas Cowboys in 2023 for a fourth-round pick.
