Derek Thompson has been sentenced to 59 years in prison for the 2023 crash that left five young women dead in Minneapolis. Thompson was sentenced on Thursday – two months after he was convicted by a jury on 15 counts including 3rd-degree murder and criminal vehicular homicide – to serve consecutive terms totaling 704 months in prison.
