A Euromillions jackpot of €250m (£213m) has been won by an Irish ticket holder, the Irish National Lottery has said. This is said to be the largest ever Euromillions jackpot to be won in Ireland. The winning numbers are 13, 22, 23, 44, 49, Lucky Stars 3 and 5.

The National Lottery has confirmed where the winning ticket for last night’s extraordinary €250,000,000 EuroMillions jackpot was purchased.

The EuroMillions jackpot is capped once it reaches 250 million euros – or £208 million. Under the current rules, once the total amount has reached its cap and if there is no winner, it stays at this value for a further four draws until it must be won in the fifth draw.
