A fiery vehicle explosion was caught on camera in the parking lot of a Washington, D.C. suburb on Thursday, July 24. The Arlington Fire and EMS in Virginia told local news outlet WTVR that the blaze began after they believed the car's fuel tank ruptured, causing a boiling liquid expanding vapor explosion.

The gas station market on Ogden and Oak Park avenues exploded into flames as high as 20 feet and was destroyed, according to witnesses. No one was injured in the afternoon blast, said Berwyn Ald. Micah Caldwell, 1st. The fire had been contained by Thursday evening, but was not extinguished.
