Energy giant Exxon Mobil Corp (XOM) unveiled its corporate plan to 2030 under which the company expects to deliver incremental growth potential of $20 billion in earnings and $30 billion in cash flow driven by investing in competitively advantaged opportunities and disciplined cost and capital management.

The biggest U.S. oil company laid out a six-year strategic plan in which it it plans to grow earnings at a compound annual growth rate of 10% and boost spending on capital projects through 2030.

Exxon Mobil plans to invest heavily into several big projects over the next six years, even as some other oil companies are growing more cautious, the company said at an investor day on Wednesday. All that investment comes at a time when most analysts expect oil prices to fall next year because of a glut—which may be why Exxon stock was down 0.
