The Bucks signed Antetokounmpo to a three-year, $175 million extension in October 2023. Antetokounmpo has spent his entire career in Milwaukee. He's a two-time MVP, a one-time Defensive Player of the Year and a one-time Finals MVP.

The Milwaukee Bucks are out of the 2025 NBA playoffs and it hasn't taken long for pundits to jump on the idea that trading star Giannis Antetokounmpo is the best move for the franchise. The former NBA MVP and his team were eliminated in the first round of the playoffs by the Indiana Pacers and will be without star guard Damian Lillard for most,

"Which means this is going to be one of the biggest things hanging over the NBA offseason. And other players, potentially even star players who might end up on the trade market might have to wait themselves to see how Giannis' situation plays out because teams are going to see him as the biggest fish.
