"The Gilded Age" received the green light for a fourth season, Warner Bros. Discovery announced Monday. The news arrives ahead of the Season 3 finale Aug. 10.

HBO has handed a Season 4 renewal to Julian Fellowes’ period drama The Gilded Age. The pickup comes ahead of the Season 3 finale on August 10, which will wrap some storylines while setting up more drama and intrigue.

Per HBO, the fifth episode of the show’s third season reached 4 million viewers in Live+3 viewing. That beats the previous series high set just last week with episode four’s 3.8 million viewers. The show is outperforming its previous season by 20% thus far and reached its highest-ever weekly viewership on HBO Max, based on weekly viewing accounts
