Club World Cup champion Chelsea has completed the signing of Netherlands defender Jorrel Hato from Ajax in a deal worth a reported 37 million pounds (C$67.6 million).

Jorrel Hato has controversially claimed that Chelsea are the biggest club in the world his £37m transfer from Ajax was announced on Sunday. The Dutch international defender has signed a seven-year contract at Stamford Bridge and becomes Chelsea’s eighth signing of the summer.
