The bypolls for Nanded Lok Sabha seat was necessitated due to the sudden death of Vasantrao who had defeated sitting BJP MP Pratap Patil Chikhalikar by a handsome margin of over 59,000 votes.

Results are awaited for two Lok Sabha constituencies, Wayanad and Nanded, along with 15 assembly constituencies, is set to take place on November 23.
