With New York kicking off awards season with the Gotham Awards and the NYFCC releasing their winners, it's now time for the West coast to jump into the fray with the Los Angeles Film Critics Association announcing their winners for 2024 on Sunday,

Voting kicked off Sunday for the 50th Los Angeles Film Critics Association (LAFCA) Awards. After announcing John Carpenter as the recipient of this year’s Career Achievement Award, LAFCA voters will recognize some of the year’s best films and talents during Sunday’s voting ahead of the awards ceremony on Jan.

The Los Angeles Film Critics Association handed out its annual achievement awards on Sunday, marking their 50th anniversary of honoring Hollywood talent on both sides of the camera. Trent Reznor and Atticus Ross of Nine Inch Nails were among the ceremony’s early winners, taking home best score for Challengers.
