Memorial Hospital North on the north side of Colorado Springs is getting a major expansion, thanks to a $407 million investment from UCHealth.

UCHealth said it is planning a major expansion to Memorial Hospital North that will nearly double its size to meet the growing healthcare needs of the community. UCHealth said from 2019 to 2024, inpatient admissions at Memorial Hospital North increased 31%,

Hospital representatives said the project encompasses almost 330,000 square feet, which will nearly double total size of the hospital.

UCHealth announced on Wednesday plans for a multi-million-dollar expansion that will nearly double the size of Memorial Hospital North in Colorado Springs.
