Nebraska football has some of its defensive players headed to the transfer portal. The school is losing its defensive coordinator.

A Nebraska quarterback is planning on entering the transfer portal. Freshman Daniel Kaelin looks to enter the portal following the 2024 regular season.

Another transfer portal entrant from Nebraska football. Sophomore linebacker Princewell Umanmielen plans to enter the portal when it opens this month. He has two years of eligibility remaining. Umanmielen played in 11 games with one start as a true freshman in 2023.
