Everything we know so far about the Nintendo Switch 2
After an agonizing wait, Nintendo finally revealed more details on the Switch 2 during a Direct presentation on the morning of April 2nd. While Nintendo told us very little in the official reveal of the console in January, the company announced during the Direct that the Switch 2 would launch on June 5th and cost $449.99.

There’s also a significant fine-print requirement: Preference will be given to users who have had at least 12 months of paid Nintendo Switch Online membership and logged a minimum of 50 gameplay hours by April 2, 2025.
