Spider-Man is swinging into the 2024 Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade with an amazing new look. For the first time since 2014, the web-slinger will soar above the streets of New York City with a new parade balloon crafted in the style of late Marvel Comics art director and legendary Amazing Spider-Man artist John Romita Sr.

Spider-Man gets one more day this week — one more Turkey Day, at least, as the friendly neighborhood superhero returns to the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade. His balloon, which hasn’t been featured in the parade since 2014,

Balloons range in size and shape, depending on the character and the pose created. The Minnie Mouse balloon debuting this year is 60 feet in height — roughly as tall as a five-story building — and 34 feet wide, about the width of five taxi cabs.

The iconic balloons are being inflated ahead of the 98th annual Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade. Six new balloons have been added this year including Minnie Mouse, Extraordinary Noorah & The Elf on the Shelf and an all-new Spider-Man balloon.
