Lucasfilm announced the fan favorite of the Star Wars prequel trilogy is hitting the big screen again on April 25.

Disney/Lucasfilm is re-releasing Star Wars: Revenge of the Sith — Episode III for its 20th anniversary on April 25. The George Lucas written, directed and produced movie which follows Anakin Skywalker’s (Hayden Christensen) complete transformation into the dark side as Darth Vader will play stateside and abroad for the first time in 4DX.

Revenge of the Sith is returning to the big screen on April 25 to celebrate the film’s 20th anniversary. I’m sure it will be fun for a lot of fans to revisit this film and experience it on the big screen again.

Star Wars anniversaries – not only will the end of the year mark 10 years since The Force Awakens arrived (a terrifying comment on the rapid runaway nature of time), but this summer will be 20 years since Anakin Skywalker finally became Darth Vader on screen in Revenge Of The Sith.
