Texas Instruments is investing more than $60 billion across seven semiconductor fabs, a move that the Dallas-based company says will help its customers, such as Apple and SpaceX, achieve technological breakthroughs.

Texas Instruments plans to invest over $60 billion in semiconductor manufacturing facilities to strengthen the domestic supply chain and support the Trump administration‘s goal of increasing U.S. chip production.

The Dallas-based tech giant says it will spend more than $60 billion on three new semiconductor complexes -- two in North Texas and a third in Utah.
