Red Bull's power unit supplier, Honda, is eagerly hoping that VCARB driver Yuki Tsunoda gets a chance to race alongside Max Verstappen at Red Bull next season.

Yuki Tsunoda and Liam Lawson continue to await Red Bull’s call on who will become Max Verstappen’s next teammate. In the aftermath of Tsunoda’s post-season test with Red Bull, Honda have voiced their support for the Japanese driver.

Honda president Koji Watanabe spoke with Red Bull team boss Christian Horner as recently as Saturday as he continued his push to ensure Yuki Tsunoda at least has a shot at the Red Bull race seat. Red Bull have yet to reveal their full line-up for both Red Bull Racing and Racing Bulls for the 2025 championship with a decision expected sometime this week.
