McLaurin is entering the final year of his current contract with Washington, and is looking to be paid among the best players at his position. The big reason why it came as a surprise, though, was because it seemed that McLaurin was in workouts before that point.

Throughout his career with the Commanders, McLaurin has played in a total of 97 games. He has caught 460 passes for 6,379 yards and 38 touchdowns. In that time period, he has been one of the most underrated players in the NFL.
