ROCHESTER, N.Y. – Wegmans is recalling Bulk Seeded Cucumbers for possible Salmonella contamination. The recalled cucumbers may bear an individual PLU sticker #4062 with the “SunFed” logo on them.

There’s an important recall you should know about: cucumbers sold at Costco, Walmart, Wegmans, and other stores are being pulled from shelves because of a Salmonella risk. The FDA and CDC are warning everyone to check their cucumbers at home and throw them out if they might be contaminated.

Rochester, N.Y.-based Wegmans Food Markets Inc. released recall information about the affected cucumbers, urging customers to either throw them away or return them to the store for a full refund. Walmart, meanwhile, released a list of stores across 15 states that carried the affected cucumbers.

Walmart, Wegmans and Albertsons stores have recalled cucumbers for possible contamination with salmonella. They were sold in 26 states, the FDA says.
