The West York Borough Police Department has spent four days now without its fallen brother, Andrew Duarte.For the first time since Saturday's mass shooting at UPMC Memorial Hospital, the chief of police paid tribute to the officer.

West York Borough Police Officer Andrew Duarte will be laid to rest on Friday, Feb. 28, at a funeral service in Red Lion, his family announced Monday. The service will be held at 1 p.m. Friday at Living Word Community Church,

Andrew Duarte, the West York police officer killed in the line of duty Saturday at UPMC Memorial Hospital, has been with the department since 2022.
