Victim Xana Kernodle’s dad, Jeff, revealed at Bryan Kohberger’s sentencing Wednesday he had almost gone to her house on the night she was murdered, and deeply regrets not going —
“Today I stand before you, the man that is responsible for murdering my beautiful daughter, Xana Kernodle. My daughter was beautiful inside and out.” She said that Xana brought joy and laughter to her friends, family and all who knew her. She said her faith has kept her strong through her healing.
Wednesday's sentencing hearing will give the families of Xana Kernodle, Madison Mogen, Ethan Chapin and Kaylee Goncalves the opportunity to describe the anguish they've felt since their loved ones were killed in the early morning hours of Nov. 13, 2022.
