On a Miami Dolphins team looking for leadership on the first day of mandatory minicamp, defensive tackle and 2024 captain Zach Sieler was in attendance. Not reporting—and to no shock—was soon-to-be former captain and cornerback Jalen Ramsey.

MIAMI GARDENS -- Zach Sieler, the Miami Dolphins' reigning MVP, attended the first day of mandatory minicamp but did not participate in team 11-on-11 drills. Sieler has two years left on a three-year, $30.75 million contract. He did not attend voluntary OTAs.

After a contentious offseason between Pro Bowler Jonnu Smith and the Miami Dolphins, the tight end did not attend the first day of the Dolphins’ mandatory minicamp. On the flip side, leading defensive tackle Zach Sieler is in the building for practice.
