Crystal Skull takes place in 1957. Jones, now 65, travels with a young, rebellious sidekick named “Mutt” Williams (Shia LaBeouf) on a quest to obtain the mythical Crystal Skull of Akator.

The director said he had come up with the idea to have Jones survive a nuclear blast by hiding in a refrigerator as part of “Kingdom of the Crystal Skull”s’ opening sequence.

LaBeouf appears in the movie along side Mr. Indian Jones himself, Harrison Ford. Cate Blanchett, Karen Allen and Ray Winstone also will star in the movie, which is set for release May 22, 2008.
