Netfile is an online service that allows Canadians to file their taxes electronically with approved software.

Netfile is only available if you complete your taxes with Canada Revenue-certified software programs, which means QuickTax, TaxWiz or UFile.

Canadians trying to file their tax returns using Netfile have had their deadline extended from midnight Wednesday to May 6 due to problems with the Canada Revenue Agency's website.
