Winter weather brings snow to Redding, northern Sacramento Valley floor, and chains to I-5
The second round of winter weather this week brought snow to downtown Redding and chain restrictions to Interstate 5, mountain roads and highways Friday morning. While snow was falling downtown and north Redding, it was not sticking to the ground.
