Federal U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement officers have arrested 2,373 illegal immigrants nationwide in President Donald Trump’s first week in office, according to a review of government data.

Nearly 1,000 people were arrested by federal agencies in a blitz to enforce immigrations policies across the United States, according to multiple reports.

Immigration operations were taking place all over the country less than a week after President Trump was sworn in.
