For an Ontario bride-to-be, the Canada Post strike means no wedding flowers on her big day. Katherine Edwards, a resident of Midland, Ont., is scheduled to get married on Dec. 7 and she is missing her artificial flowers because they are stuck in the mail due to the national postal strike.

On Nov. 28, the Canadian Chamber of Commerce delivered a harshly worded letter to MacKinnon and Public Services Minister Jean-Yves Duclos, demanding action because the postal strike was having a “considerable impact,” particularly in rural and northern areas.

As a result of the Canada Post strike, all deliveries except benefit cheques will be halted until the matter is resolved with the CUPW.
