According to one insider, Lakers superstar Luka Doncic and incoming center Deandre Ayton were "motivated" to play together.

The Los Angeles Lakers have finally gotten their center in Deandre Ayton. This was a void LA suffered from last season after trading Anthony Davis. To some fans the addition of Ayton is a huge pickup and will tremendously help the team next season.

Despite the Los Angeles Lakers' hope that Deandre Ayton can solve their issues at center next season, at least one person who used to work for one of his former clubs is pessimistic about the 26-year-old making a positive impact.
