Most exit polls have projected Bharatiya Janata Party's (BJP) return in Delhi after 27 years, while Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) is predicted to not hit the majority mark of 36 in the 70-seat Delhi assembly.

"All exit poll results are showing BJP taking lead. We have been saying that BJP is going to form the government in Delhi. People have rejected Arvind Kejriwal's 11-year rule," BJP MP Yogender Chandolia tells PTI.

Out of 10 exit polls, only two – Mind Brink and WeePreside – ruled in favour of the AAP. About 57 percent of Delhi’s voters turned out to exercise their franchise today. While results are still three days away, muted celebrations seem to have started as exit polls predicted a clean sweep for the Bharatiya Janata Party.

After high-octane political fight between ruling AAP, BJP and Congress in the Delhi Assembly election and high percentage voting, the focus now shifts to the contentious exit poll predictions. Most exit poll predictions have given an edge to BJP in the Delhi Assembly elections.
