Wisteria Lane, a reimagining of the ABC dramedy Desperate Housewives, has been set up for development as a new TV series with Kerry Washington as EP.

A new Desperate Housewives series is currently in the works. Disney’s Onyx Collective is developing a show titled Wisteria Lane, a reimagining of ABC’s 2004 to 2012 hit. Should it go forward, Wisteria Lane would stream on Hulu alongside Onyx Collective’s other shows.

Kerry Washington’s production company, Simpson Street, is bringing desperation back. Wisteria Lane, a spin-off of Desperate Housewives, is in development at Onyx Collective, according to Deadline. The show will be written by Natalie Chaidez of The Flight Attendant and Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles fame and will focus on the sixth housewife: Wistera Lane,
