While Ferrari's first EV is due soon, the second one is meant to be a true series production model. But a new report says there isn't enough demand for it.

Ferrari clients aren't enthusiastic about electric cars, and the brand is responding appropriately. Ferrari has delayed its second all-electric vehicle from 2026 to 2028 due to a lack of customer demand, with sources citing “zero” current interest in high-performance EVs.

As part of Ferrari's undisclosed internal plans a second EV model was planned for around the end of 2026. But now it is not expected before 2028, one of the sources said, who added that real, sustainable demand is non-existent for an electric sports car.
