A Kenyan vendor in Nairobi CBD has been shot dead by a police officer during protests calling for justice over the death of teacher Albert Ojwang.  In multiple videos shared online, two officers are seen approaching the man who was standing on the sidewalk along the streets.

A police officer has been caught on candid camera shooting down an unarmed protester in the Nairobi Central Business District (CBD). In the video seen by Kenyans.co.ke, two uniformed police officers were seen walking past the man who was standing outside Imenti House along Moi Avenue, supposedly selling masks to protestors.

Police have been forced to lob teargas at demonstrators gathering at various points across the CBD, as Gen Z protestors call for accountability in Ojwang’s death. Demonstrators have been pushing for the resignation of Deputy Inspector General of Police Eliud Lagat over Ojwang’s death.
