It appears that they’ll have to face Oklahoma City without one of their key starters, Nic Claxton. It was announced on Tuesday afternoon that the NBA had suspended Claxton for one game due to his accumulated six flagrant foul points following Monday’s match against the Wizards.

In the Nets’ loss to the Thunder, Nic Claxton was in street clothes and serving a suspension for the kind of silliness Brooklyn can’t afford.

Brooklyn Nets center Nic Claxton has been suspended for one game without pay after picking up a sixth flagrant-foul point this season. The NBA announced Claxton's punishment on Tuesday. He will serve his suspension during Wednesday night's home game against Oklahoma City.
