After this latest report from Biran Windhorst, it's hard not to think that the Los Angeles Lakers are done with the LeBron James era.

If the Los Angeles Lakers eventually make LeBron James available, one of the teams expected to be interested is the New York Knicks. The Knicks, whether they want to add James because of off-the-court reasons or because he's still one of the better players in the NBA, would be wise to show some sort of interest in him.

The Los Angeles Lakers told Luka Dončić about the sale of the team in advance but didn't notify LeBron James, according to ESPN's Ramona Shelburne and Brian Windhorst.
