More than 200 flights have been cancelled across Edinburgh, Glasgow and Aberdeen airports as Storm Eowyn brings hurricane force winds to Scotland. Passengers have been urged to check with their airline before travelling to the airports.

A flat fire in Aberdeen which left seven injured is being treated as deliberate by police. Emergency services raced to Aulton Court in the Granite City at around 8pm on Monday, January 20, after reports of a blaze. The fire is believed to have broken out on the landing of the 12th floor in the 19-floor tower block, prompting an evacuation.

A major operation to find Eliza and Henrietta Huszti is continuing after the pair vanished earlier this month. Police previously said there was no evidence of any "suspicious circumstances" related to their disappearance.
