Diggs' talent has been undeniable in his NFL career, especially once he departed the Minnesota Vikings for Buffalo. Diggs was named to four consecutive Pro Bowls as a Bill, including a First-Team All-Pro selection in 2020, where he led the NFL with 127 receptions and 1,535 yards.

Buffalo traded the mercurial Diggs, a 2024 sixth-round pick and a 2025 fifth-round pick to Houston in exchange for a 2025 second-round pick in April 2024. The Bills took a $31.1 million dead cap hit in the deal but quarterback Josh Allen won the NFL MVP award in his first post-Diggs season.

There was recent speculation that Stefon Diggs might be heading toward a reunion with the Buffalo Bills. Instead, he may be heading elsewhere in the AFC East. The Athletic's Chad Graff reported that Diggs visited the New England Patriots on Wednesday.
