Despite his legendary playoff performances, Travis Kelce was a shadow of himself in the Chiefs' Super Bowl loss to the Eagles. Now, Kansas City’s front office has dropped a shocking revelation about his health during the game.

Kansas City general manager Brett Veach was asked during an interview with NFL Network at the scouting combine about which version of Kelce the Chiefs could expect if he returns next year, and the executive revealed the 35-year-old tight end was not feeling himself in the lead-up to the big game.

“He was battling with [a] pretty big illness there before the Super Bowl,” the Kansas City Chiefs GM Brett Veach said in an interview on the Tuesday, February 25, episode of the NFL “Insiders” podcast, a clip of which host Tom Pelissero shared via X.
