North Korea is supplying as much as 40 percent of Russia's ammunition used in the war in Ukraine, according to a Bloomberg report on Saturday.

One of Russia’s most powerful men, Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov, is set to visit North Korea this weekend, in a sign of deepening relations between Moscow and Pyongyang as North Korea gets pulled deeper into Russia’s war in Ukraine.

Ukrainian military intelligence chief Kyrylo Budanov stated that North Korea supplies up to 40 per cent of Russia's ammunition. The partnership has intensified since last year as North Korea keeps providing troops and artillery to support Russia's war efforts in Ukraine.
