Arsenal have had horrible disciplinary luck this season, and it appears yet another such questionable decision went against them when Michael Oliver sent off young defender Myles Lewis-Skelly for a foul against Wolves.
Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta was pleased that Myles Lewis-Skelly's red card was rescinded but criticised the abuse aimed at referee Michael Oliver by fans. The 18-year-old Lewis-Skelly has escaped a three-match suspension after the FA overturned Oliver's decision to send him off in Saturday's 1-0 win at Wolverhampton Wanderers.

Mikel Arteta said football must “kick out” the abuse suffered by referees after Michael Oliver was targeted in the aftermath of Arsenal’s win against Wolves. Oliver was the subject of attacks made online, including death threats against his family, after he showed a red card to Arsenal defender Myles Lewis-Skelly at Molineux on Saturday.
Arsenal fans have stopped crying for two minutes after today’s Premier League official announcement (see below). The official PL announcement revealing that an FA statement has released news that Myles Lewis-Skelly has had his three match ban lifted.
He is not surprised to see the Islington-born talent become a trusted member of Mikel Arteta 's squad but thinks he has a lot to learn about the left-back position which he manned in his own career.
