Calvin Johnson, the Lions former star wide receiver spoke to FOX 2's Jennifer Hammond about how far the team has come since he played on the team.
Out on the turf, the Lions' storied Honolulu blue melded with the team's secondary color, a dull shade best described as "putty" or "cement" — too gray for a pleasing contrast, and too blue for tone-on-tone harmony — into a swirling mass of blah that seemed to echo the team's lackluster performance.

According to multiple reports, the Lions will hire former Denver Broncos passing-game coordinator John Morton to the role, where he will replace the departed Ben Johnson. Morton, 55, previously spent the 2022 season with the Lions as a senior offensive assistant before moving on to Denver for the 2023 and 2024 campaigns.
That'll make it a full eight Lions players who can add a Pro Bowl to their resume this offseason. Detroit had seven players make the initial roster — quarterback Jared Goff, running back Jahmyr Gibbs, wide receiver Amon-Ra St. Brown, center Frank Ragnow, Sewell, safety Brian Branch and punter Jack Fox — and had 11 players named as alternates.
