An official in Bend, Oregon, claimed that it cost thousands of dollars to remove googly eyes from public artwork in town. The unlikely sum helped the amusingly-modified objects go viral, and now a culprit has emerged to take credit for some of the work.
The Junior League of Eugene hosted a speaker event on Jan. 6 at Capitello Wines to discuss anti-trafficking awareness.  The JLE is a non-profit women’s advocacy group that promotes social change in the community.
"There is no reason why you could not establish a national legal network, pro bono network, that is capable of extending pro bono legal aid to every identifiable human trafficking survivor. That's the end goal of The Joseph Project," Knapper said.
