Users alleged Byron was assembling documents to file a lawsuit against the band following the viral kiss-cam incident that led to his resignation.

The clip, which showed Byron and Astronomer’s HR head Kristin Cabot in what appeared to be an intimate exchange, sparked a massive controversy online and led to significant personal and professional fallout.

The Coldplay kiss cam drama has now also pulled in Ryan Reynolds’ company, Maximum Effort. With Gwyneth Paltrow having already made a surprise cameo as Astronomer’s “temporary spokesperson,” Reynolds’ involvement has only added buzz to the situation.
