All of the commissioners who are part of the College Football Playoff are meeting after the SEC and Big Ten commissioners met last week with their athletics directors and expressed their desire for seeding changes.

Dinich's update came after the Big Ten and SEC held meetings in New Orleans on Wednesday. The model that was in place last season gave a first-round bye to the four highest-ranked conference champions, so Boise State and Arizona State were granted byes even though they were ranked Nos. 9 and 12, respectively, in the final CFP poll.
