The long holiday weekend is here, and temperatures on both Saturday and Sunday will be well above average and downright summer-like.

As a historic winter storm pushes towards Florida, the National Weather Service issued Winter Storm Warnings for a large swath of the southern U.S., stretching from South Texas to Northeast Florida.

A stronger cold front will be approaching by Sunday afternoon, and while there could be some impressive storms in the Panhandle early Sunday, the storm chances for Central Florida look much lower.
