Wicked has set another impressive record in its second weekend at the US box-office. After landing the biggest US box office opening for a Broadway adaptation, the Jon M Chu movie has achieved continued success, quickly becoming the highest grossing Broadway adaptation in US box office history, according to Variety.

More than 3 million people flew in the U.S. on the Sunday after Thanksgiving, setting a new record. It’s one of only two days to ever top 3 million passengers.

Travel through U.S. airports set a record at the close of the Thanksgiving weekend, officials said, despite serious snowfall in parts of the country.

The TSA had predicted that Thanksgiving week air travel would rise 6% over the same days last year, fitting a pattern of record travel in 2024.
